Mid-term elections matter because they impact us locally. These elections impact our daily lives. Good governance starts at home.

After a screening process that includes an in-depth interview, Downstate Forward PAC endorses candidates we believe will improve our daily lives in Springfield, Sangamon County and Christian County. These candidates, some of whom are running for public office for the first time, need our support – to help with organization, communication, visibility, and funding. We created this PAC because progressive candidates don’t always get the financial support they need. Our PAC becomes a strategic part of their campaigns by hosting events where voters can get to know them, and through our crucial financial support.

Your monetary donations allow us to provide progressive candidates with the support they need to win elections.

 

Our current fundraising goal is $5,000. That amount will help give these candidates a chance to get their messages out to constituents.
